Peter Frampton (born 22 April 1950 in Beckenham, Kent) is a British musician, best known today for his solo work in the mid-1970s as an "arena rocker". He originally became famous, however, as a member of The Herd and became a teen idol in Britain. He then worked with Steve Marriott (of the Small Faces) in Humble Pie, as well as on albums by Harry Nilsson, Jerry Lee Lewis, and George Harrison. His solo debut was 1972's Wind of Change. He gained international fame in 1976 when his much-loved live album, Frampton Comes Alive! was released.

One More Time Lyrics

Peter Frampton

Only one step away
Before I touch the bay
Do I still have to pay
Sand between my toes
And nobody knows how I'm feeling
Just not healing
We'll do it again one more time

I'm not turning you away
I'm needing some advice
If you think I'm running out
It's you I want to live with
Till I can't go any further
Lovin' you
We'll do it again one more time

Only one step away
Before I show the world
All the hurt you have inside
Only lasts awhile
'Cause nobody knows how I'm feeling
Just not healing
We'll do it again one more time
Till I can't go any further
Lovin' you
We'll do it again one more time
Nobody knows how I'm feeling
Just not healing
We'll do it again one more time
